Hey guys.

I have a 99 Grand Am coupe and the black paint is flaking off the passenger side bpillar trim (exterior). Luckily it looks like theyre made of galvinized steel, so theyre not rusting.

Is there a way to remove these pieces so i can wetsand and repaint it? Or maybe switch to a body matched color (green). I dont want to have to paint them while on the car if i dont have to.

Thanks
Sean Gallagher

you can attach pics too as long as they're under 115.4Kb. The "attach file" option is at the bottom of the "post reply" page :)

is there a way to take them off though?

its been in the 30's here lately and would like to get them painted ASAP, which would mean i would have to have them inside.
