Well the other night I noticed that when I made a turn it did a weird whining type noise. What could this possibly be?

what part is whining? I know sometimes when I turn at low speeds the break area kind of whines (hums) and vibrates. It startles me, and then I shrug it off until the next time it happens. I have no clue (ABS?) what it is but it doesn't seem to hurt anything so I've never really asked about it. I'll be interested to know a little more about your whining and what kind of answers you get.

I can't really tell where it is coming from. It just does it louder the sharper the turn I take. Doesn't help that before that I pulled the e-brake I whipped it around either, but when I got up for school today and drove it, it barely made the noise.

It's either the power steering or the dreaded bad wheel bearing.

I would say power steering fluid... Mine does it bad when low...
I have a leak somewhere and cant find it... I have went through 4 bottels now... Still can't find the leak.

Check the ends of the steering rack.
