cig lighter out

I went to plug in my cigarette lighter plug for my sirius radio and i get no power to the unit. Im going to assume that it is the fuse since the lighter doesnt work either. What i want to know is what size is the fuse?

The fuse is in the passenger-side fuse panel. The proper fuse size should be listed on the label on the fuse panel cover.

How would I trace a short in the cig lighter?
My fuse will blow in a week or so after replacing?
