dont give me any shit about searching... im at work and i dont ahve time/can't get caught on the internet
so quickly i will ask
on a 2000 ga (sure all 99+ are the same) how do you remove the headlights so that you can change the light bulbs? I'm not to familiar with your model, and a buddy on a local forum wants to find out... any help plz?

remove the ram air shroud and then there is 2 clips holding each light in

... if the clips have never been out, pliers are a good idea :)

If it hasn't already been piped in, for God's sake be careful of the black circular retainer cups aroun dthe headlight unit.
I broke one and it cost me far more than a little black piece of plastic is worth.

About 11 bucks IIRC at the dealer.

They wanted 18 at my dealership if I remember right. I told them to screw off and went to another dealership and got it for 12.

I used a screw driver to get mine out :)
oh, and even after reading the warning about the black peice, and being (at least what i thought) careful with it, I still broke the damn thing.. i mean.. it takes nothing! but, screw paying money, I just duck taped it, held it fine *shrugs*

hahah I love the repair manual, a woman with long finger nails is taking out those long sliper clips with her hands! ha, i had to ream on them foever just to get them out the first time, I was so pissed ;)

Yup, I did the same thing...used duct tape. Red Green would have been proud. And I saved 11 dollars for the part and 48 dollars in gasoline if I went and got it....
