Left window curves (not in trak?)

when i pull the window down or up the window sort of goes sideways and when it drops all the way down it makes a major clunk noise.


any idea which part would i need to fix this guys? dealer charges 400 for this and they dont recommend doing it for that price either so i thought maybe i can just buy a part and disassemble the window myself...

Probably have one of the sash clips busted on you. Can't remember the price, but you'll need to pick up some 3M structural adhesive to install the new ones.

Well I didn't know what year of car... Mine dont have clips you have to replace the whole freaking thing.

When my driver's door (4 door model) exhibited the same set of circumstances as your window currently does, it turned out to be the clip becoming unglued from the glass. Please see the attched photos ...

All I really had to do was to remove the panel and set the glass down into the old clip. The bonding agent from GM was expensive ($50 Canadian) instead, I used JB Weld. It's been over a year and the window still works fine.

The reason I removed the entire window was to replace a broken clip on the regulator assembly - now that's a joke - $60 Canadian for a cheap plastic clip.

if u have power windows like i do and my wife rolled up a damn blaket in the window and broke the damn CABLE 2 WINDOW mounts so i looked everywhere for the plastic clips and found gm wont sell them seperate for safty reasons...BASTERDS!

anger made me hit the wrong key. anyway they want to sell the whole regulator assembly for 150 bucks.#$%^!!! pvc pipe holds that window now tell i find some clips or a way to make it work.GOOD LUCK
