Change Oil Light

I have an interesting problem...


I got my oil changed a little over a week ago.. Drove home, everything was peachy... Been fine since, even as of yesterday... Now, this morning I turn the car on and instantaneously my "Change Oil Light" came on :jenny: Checked the floor, no leaking.. Any idea why it came on?

I did that thing where you pump the accelerator 3 times, to turn the warning off.. But I just wanna know what gives?

maybe its a failing sensor? Did you check your oil level?

Yea, the oil level was perfect...

It has nothing to do with the actual oil in the car, just calculates oil life after each reset and puts on the light when it thinks it's time for new oil... Reset it, that's it, case closed...

Sounds like the place that changed your oil did not reset the light.
