Back in October I went down to Slamfest with my car club. I already posted those pics but a friend of mine just sent me some pics that he took of my car and I thought I'd post 'em up.

This was when we drove down there on Friday night...

Nice work on the car, but its not my style, and that Slamfest looks more like a Rice-Fest, lol, espeically the blue car next to you in the second pic

Always gotta be one person calling something rice but whatever. Maybe one day these "kids" will grown up. Everyone else, thanks for the compliments.

Saw the car there in person and it was lookin' sweet Mike. The club games were pretty hillarious too.

While a couple of those cars do look a bit 3ast 3urious to me(the poor blue 'retta, and the yellow what appears to be sentra), your car looks good (thank god you filled in those rectangular speed holes!), but is that a crack in the bumper there on the lower pass. side? if so, that blows mightily, I hope you can fix it, best of luck :thumbup:

Not a crack...just a paint chip. :( All the money I come into now is going toward paying off a couple bills, then an engagement ring, then a bike. Not necassarily in that order ;)

mikey i wouldnt be too worried about what some 16 year old thinks of your or your team's cars... especially when he's got a car as old as he is....

anywho... pics are lookin nice as always... i really think you stepped that kit up a couple notches by filling in the holes in the front too man...

god look at those pics from the 2nd floor of the hotel makes me so mad cause i have to wait another 3 months before i get out for the 06 season.... i hate NY

You def. do a good job on that kit. I like how you filled in the holes. BTW, who defines rice these days? No one, each person has there own tastes. You don't have a fart cannons and your spoiler is your car spoiler (no pepboys spoiler) I like it, keep up the good work :)

and If I'm not correct, if you look in more detail in your pics, I can see ome antique trucks in the background. So In my opinion, it was just a car show period!!! Which are awesome.

The only gripe I have is....your car is blocking that girl! lol The Grand Am definately looks good. The last show I was at wass way back in October too (Droptoberfest) seeing these pics definately get me thinking about spring time. I am goignto a show this weekend "Tuner War" in HArrisburg, without the Grand Am:(

Whats wrong with old cars? lol I think I have the oldest FWD GA here! lol But..... since it dosen't have a stock Turbo its probably "RICE" too. :randy:

Nooo Rice is when you put a 4 foot hideous wing, stickers and gawd awful wheels on a car, along with NOS steat covers and crappily spray paint your dash some retarded color not even assoisicated with the car, this kid at school had a nice prelude with color matching gray wheels, and decides to put a WHITE 3 foot spoiler that looks like complete ass, i dunno why he did it...

people need to learn the difference between ricer car and tuner car.

for definitions sake.. a rice is somebody who puts on a body kit on their car. poorly done work with the body kit... looks like they just bolted it on and spray painted it with aerosol paint cans. put on a fart can that makes your car sound like a lawnmower. and but not neccesarily, put tons of stickers on your car. And or put stickers on your car like nos when you don't even have nos installed. and of course the big giant wing that makes your car look stupid. and then there's the walmart ricer. you know the ones who put the plastic walmart rim covers on and the walmart seat cover and steering wheels. well depends on the seat covers.. but most look like crap. :lol:

Well, I found a GREAT painter that does private work really cheap! I've seen his work before and he's awesome. I'm gonna get the paint chips filled in within the next couple weeks and then eventually get the whole car painted something sicc! I definitely want my bike before I get the whole car repainted tho so it won't be anytime in the near future!

off topic but....

I don't think a "tuner car" has to be built by a big company. Its more or less a vehicle that has had more then parts just tossed on. I believe tuner comes from the idea that real tuners have their cars on Dynos and they pay close attention to the changes each mod makes to the vehicles actual performance mumbers, while maintining a show worth appearance to the vehicle.
