Here's my whip. A '96 Grand Am. I've had her since '01, and I don't think I'll ever get rid of her. I did just put $620 into the engine for repairs, (blew a head gasket) but other than that I have had no complaints. I do want to get a new vehicle sometime, but still keep this. I would like to get a body kit for it sometime but that will have to wait. Most of it is stock...I just painted the mirrors red as well as the pastic under the wippers. I also Painted the interior red but I can't find the pics of it. Nothing real special but I love her...customization at the price of a few cans paint.

looks good to me... my only pet peeve about the SE's is the chrome around the windows... WHen I first got my SE, i blacked out that chrome with vinyl, and I think it looks 100X better, but thats just a personal thing on my part. Overall she looks good.. which engine is in her, the 4 or 6 cyl? Im guesing 6cyl because the head gasket seems to be more of an issue on them.

Yeah...she's got the 6 cyl. 3.1
I finally paid her off a few months ago. My girl wants me to get a new car by the end of next year but I'm not sure I can part with my car. I'm going to re-paint all the parts this spring, and get a new grill. Hopefully I can get into some engine work also. Anyone have some low cost ideas to get a little more performace out of her?

Thanks guys. I know there isn't much done to it, hopefully when I get some more cash (college loans and house payments are a bitch) I'll be able to do more.

nice looking ride, your should get some 17 or 18's on her, and a couple strut bars, she'll ride so much better. Take turns smoother, etc.

thanks guys.
khanley8604...This pic was taken last summer and I got a ticket towards the end of the summer because it was to dark (5% limo)...it registered 3% on the cops meter! Now I have 30% limo tint on...not as dark but still dark. I think this summer I'm gonna put the 5% limo tint back on.
