help!!!

hey im installing a sub and amp in my 02 sedan w/ the stock monsoon radio and i cant find were to tap in for my remote wire. i have no clue wich wire it could be, just that its either blackw/whitestripe, orange, pink, solid black, purple, green, or gray. not shure wich one it is tho. if anyone can help me i really need it. tnx

I know aftermarket stereos are blue, I can't say for stock. I guess you have a line output converter?

yea i do have a line converter and ive already done like 7 searches. everyone has some kind of custom radio ....wat is this :bs: . n e ways i know there is a drk grn wire at the back of the stereo, but i have also found a bundel of ires running to my ignition switch....no grn wire :( . i used my meter and found a black wire w/ a white stripe that goes to the back of the radio and to the switch. only problem is the lights dim when i turn the key...no shound. im pretty shure that the black wire is the wrong one. im assuming that the black wire is the ground. but y does it go to the ignition. my amp wont run off that wire. im gonna see if maybe the drk grn wire splices w/ another one but i dont think it does. n e ways tnx for the help

Why are you looking for a green wire going to the ignition switch? The "switching" of the switched 12V is done at the radio...look at the big ass diagram I posted...BTW I found that doing a search.

lol...i was saying its BS that i couldnt find anyone with a stock monsoon radio on here. honestly i didnt know that the wire doesnt go to the ignition, thats a big help right there. shows how much i know about radios. so i guess ill just search moer next time and find that grn wire. tnx
