I think my 00' SE 3400 is dying :(

Well, not quite, but somethings wrong.

I've recently noticed that I'm getting horrible gas mileage compared to before. Where it used to not even take 1 'tick' on my gas meter, to get to school and back, its now taking me 2 or 3 'ticks', and my driving habits havnt changed.

On top of that, my throttle response has decreased dramatically. It used to be quick and crisp, but now it lags, especially on hills (which is normal :P) but its the same hill I've been taking to work for a year now.

Is my GA dying on me???

Or does she just need something new?

Any recommendations???

Has any of the regular maintenance been done? How many miles are on it? Have you done any mileage calculations? The fuel gauge isn't always accurate, you can't always go by it.

As for routine maintenance, have you changed spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc?

It has about 70,000 KMs (about 44,000 Miles).
I checked the air filter, it looks fine. Hacnt checked spark plugs, but gonna do that now.

Not sure about the regular maintainance tho, since its a shared car. I know there was one due at 66,000 KMs but I'm not sure if it was actually done.

I'm gonna take to the dealership tomorrow and have it checked out.

check your spark plugs and wires, but my guess is that the fuel filter maybe plugged.
