Is there a catback for my 94 Grand Am GT 3100 V6? I've done searches and haven't found answers.

Would it be possible to make a custom one for the car?

Any ideas? If anyone hasn't noticed, I don't know much about exhaust, I know about Engine Performance.

If you go to a local exhaust shop, most of them can fab up something nice and custom for relatively inexpensively. A lot of the guys at my autox say that their custom exhausts give as much gains as the name-brand ones. I dunno about that, but the custom ones do sound nice.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any good exhaust shops in the Dayton area..

I know a few underhanded ones.... :D Like straight piping my cat when if (finally) fell off my 88 Astro this summer. But they asked me not to share their name. hehe.

But to add to the thread, any Muffler Brothers should be able to bend a setup for you, and most MB's carry Flowmaster mufflers.

Yeah muffler brother's is the first place I thought of. But I was leaning towards the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers, any suggestions?

Yeah, buy one and take it to MB.

Would they be able to put on my original exhaust tips too? I won't be able to afford new tips yet.

...Sometimes I feel like all the money I've put in my Grand Am to just get it running smoothly etc, would have fixed this baby...

What's wrong with it? My mom stopped starting it back in 2003 because of a dead battery.

Only things that was wrong with it: Fuel Pump, Front End Alignment, Brake system, wheel bearings.

Yeh i did custom setup on mine only cost 350 at the local Monro Muffler shop, with muffler and all so I mean its really not bad at all. And the sound on it even with an import muffler (DC Sports) it has a real nice rumble and sound. Good Luck!
Peace,
Andrew

I haven't talked to an Muffler Brother's guys yet so I don't know how much it'll cost...yet. I'm taking my time on my LIM, I'm cleaning every part and everything with elbow grease. Manual labor wise, all I need to do is the rocker arms and pushrods, slap in the gasket and then reassemble everything.
