If someone added the turbo, it could very well exist. Just not off the factory floor. :)

I didn't think they made gt's with 4 cylinders.

They made the GT with 4 cylinders from '92-'98...but no turbos in that time. :) Could be custom... though...you'd think they'd say more about it.

$5000 for a 98 GT with a turbo?? thats hard to beleive, conciderign turbo's alone are worth $3500 and i think the car (with 85,000 miles on it) is worth more than $1500

either it is the 2.4 Twin Cam with a turbo, or maybe someone swapped it for a '85-'88 2.0 OHC Turbo?
either way, I would take a look at it and if you have the money, snag it, it could be a cool car to just mod and make a sleeper or something.

no way was someone stupid enough to swap in a 2.0 turbo in place of their 2.4. The turbo must be an aftermarket unit on it, deffinatly worth looking at for that kinda money.

I was just saying. I mean stock they *did* have 165hp but last I knew, there were no turbos for the Quad4/Twin Cam....

If an engine swap was done, they should have junked the 4-banger and put a V6 in it. Otherwise, a lot of wasted labor IMHO.

I mean you said there is things wrong with it, but still...... mint ones are going for ~10grand on ebay......
....... heh too bad I didnt know this before I got my 2 GA's......really.
I always liked the GN, my aunt had 3 differnt ones (1 was stolen and trashed, other she got tired of, sold then got a '94 Mustang conv just to sell that and get another GN then sell that and get a new Audi. Go figure) but it is a real nice car.
