Quad 4 motor

Anyone know where I can track down a decent used quad 4 motor for a 95 GT. All the rebuilts I have seen are in excess of $2,500!!

you can get a brand new, not rebuilt from manta for that cost. Try ebay, they have them on there from time to time. Usually less than a grand. It all depends on if you want the sohc, dohc, or the HO, or even a w41, manta has them for 3 grand.

Will a 2002 Quad 4 Swap into 1995 Grand Am?

The last Quad 4's were made in 1995. Then they came out with the 2.4 TwinCam which is similar, yet different. Now they make a 2.2 Ecotec. You could swap a 2.4 or 2.2 in, but you'd have to also swap in a computer and harness and probably other things I'm not thinking of, it addition to accomadating different mounts, etc.
