The revival of the supercharged 95 GT is near.
(Background story for those wondering... I broke the original transmission back in early November. The car has been sitting since.)

And just cause pics of parts gets boring I suppose.
The dead 94 HO sedan :(, the running but non-moving 95 SC'ed coupe, and the Spec V that's been getting me to/from point A & B...

"What I miss"
I really like this pic despite the messy unfinished interior - it captures a good moment of GAOC Albany 05... dozens of Grand Ams all around me. Good people. Fresh air. Nice scenary. Purring at 3,000 rpms with 43 PSI of fuel pressure, and dead-on stoich air/fuel mix. ;)

And for any n00bs that might not have seen my car (since I don't really post pics often since I'm more go than show)

Does he still have both vehicles or did he junk one?

Oh, not pictured...
-new clutch master cylinder
-slave cyl/throwout bearing
-CV shafts (need to order yet)
-shift cables (need to order yet)
The entire driveline between the crank and wheels is being replaced. It was the only element of driving this car that I felt was worn and sloppy.

Thanks, wish I could agree... the 94 is looking rather beat with it's bumps/scrapes and peeling/fading paint. :( If it ran, I'd still look beyond it though.

No mod day... all the cars are at my apartment in Jersey. I have no place to work on it. It would cost me more (in money and time) to get it to my parent's place in PA than it would to have AAA tow to a local shop for the install. I'm opting for the shop... they are apparently known by many people who frequent Atco Raceway, plus I have zero experience with clutches.
Yes, I still have both GA's. I have yet to determine the fate of the 94 HO sedan... I will investigate when the spring rolls around. Maybe it will see open road (and dragstrips) once again. Although if the bottom end is trashed, the car is getting junked.

Well, I still need to create those holes. Ugh. So much to do this year just to whip 'er into shape again...
-vacuum and EVAP hoses (one of the few hoses I didn't replace rotted and got sucked into the radiator fan)
-need pads and rotors
-need new struts and shocks, bad
-wiring... a lot of it
-the interior gauges/etc

You guys are savages. Don't worry, all you scavengers will get your chance if that's how things go. Problem is, it's going to be a "you have 1 afternoon to grab parts until the junkyard wrecker arrives " kinda deal. It's stuck at my apartment complex, I can't pull fascias and what not... it'll get reported again and the office lady won't be able to save me from a tow/impound this time.
Oh, and actually yellow was my first choice in color. No disrespect to red... besides, now I got the McD's theme going. Ronald would approve.

Thanks. :)
Didn't realize that... usually my car quietly blends into the crowd of others that have more to offer in the appearance department... I've always preferred an OEM quality appearance with some mild and tasteful flare to it... but I guess that has it's attractive qualities too.

Thanks for the various comments everyone. Oh, and to those going to Albany this year... I'll have to offer some passenger rides again. :burnout:

The whole "stage" thing actually annoys me, since there's no standard of comparison besides the other "stages" offered by the same company.
During my research, I discovered that stage III for some companies was an unsprung racing clutch - not street friendly. Others were upgrade street clutches. In this case, the Spec "stage" III is a sprung 6-puck street/strip clutch... will handle more torque than I'll ever throw at it but is still mannered enough to drive on the street.

I guess I could say "It sits like hell" right now. It's certainly good at it too... push clutch, put into first, release clutch, engine continues to idle, no movement, along with something that sounds like pebbles tumbling around.

Yeah, I can definitely say I could go for a few more of those! :D I've never seen someone go through that many gears in that little stretch so quickly...then drive past the hotel like nothing was going on lol...

Damn it Matt! That seals the deal, I have GOT to get my ass to Albany this year! I can't wait to see that beast in person, if I had a 95 GT, it would be just like yours, but of course, black :D
Good luck with the new parts and the repairs

That 6 puck is going to drive you loony. Letting off the pedal, its going to be nothing....nothing...nothing...noth...WHAM! into gear.
Though, my car with a stock clutch is alot like that.

$360 for the kit, including slave cyl/throwout bearing & ailignment tool also. Got it from Carcustoms. Yep... thanks, was one of the few good timings I had in that 3 month streak of bad luck. Both my cars were dead at that point, but I drove down in Seth's GA (iceman) to Baltimore to pick it up. Swung through Delaware on the way back to check out the Spec V that I ended up purchasing.

I think I'll manage. I realized that I slip the clutch very little (which might explain the 145K on 1 clutch). I actually like quick engagement... and I'm sure it can't be as bad as that unsprung clutch I tried on a modded Evo 8.
