i wasn't sure where to post this because its not really a performance mod or appearance mod so i'm gonna stick it in here. anyhow i'm starting a new job on monday and my car is gonna be sitting in a city parking lot all day so i was thinking about getting an alarm installed on my car soon. any recommendations on what to get?

I got the 2003 Crimestopper Informer. I Love It. It has the usual plus remote start and two way paging so when my car is messed with it pages me. Also I can control the windows and sunroof from the remote. Nice for the trapped summer heat. This is a great unit for any of you that are looking for a good alarm. It also has a little cool LCD screen remote that has animated icons of a car when it's running, armed, etc... Also it locks the car when you remote start it in case you left it unlocked. When you arm it it will close the windows and sunroof if they are open. I found mine on ebay froma wholesaler for $170 shipped. I had looked around before this and got quotes of 3 and 400 USD without install. All in all Im pleased.
See ya
It's been in for about a month now and I just Love it. One of my best moves. And it truly does have range. i work in a 50 story Building in NYC and I can start my car before I leave the office.
Fun Fun Fun.:agree:
