I've done so much with this car. I haven't been driving since December... I guess it's a small price to pay for perfection. We got this car for $1,100. Not a bad price if I don't say so my self. I sold my 95 GAGT Coupe because it had a blown head-gasket. So far we've spent $1,650 for a rebuilt transmission, It has new used parts which would include, Shifter Assembly and Knob, Center Console I got brand new, I got a brand new Gauge and Radio Bezel from a guy at a dealer ship, New ECM, Air-bag module, Variable effort PS-Pump. And I'm still needing parts for it. The last owner did some things to the vehicle that aren't really making real sence. Makes us feel as tho the guy was a few cards short of a full deck. IM posting some progress shots. I'll write down what I've done so far and whats to be comming up and post that tomorrow. I dont know if anyone here would put this kind of commitment into a car. Im not saying Im any better than anyone else Im just saying I know I can make this car into something nice. And she only has 100,000 Miles on her. These are going to kill folks on a 56K modem. All shots are in 800X600 resolution.

Change Carpet
Change Drivers side Door Panel
Get Tigerpaw Tires Installed
Get Mirrors and get them painted the same color as the car or possibly look into the Mirror mod I've been wanting to try. Either way it'll be the same color as the car.
Get my Exhaust back up where it's supposed to be. It hangs really low for some reason.
Change my Intake Gasket. IM leaking Antifreeze from there.
Transmission that was just rebuilt is leaking at the pan at an enormous rate so I'm taking it back.
Put Dash Back together. It's half done so far.
Change out Left Tail light due to vapor leak
Do the breaks
Change all the interior speakers
Adjust Window Regulator on the Driver and Passenger Front Doors.
Install ABS Sensor
Get light bulb for the trunk
Fix the headlight black eye.

are the exhaust straps that go around the mufflers gone? They rust out pretty quick and then just let the muffler hang when they completely rust and break. You can get them new at a dealership for under $15 a peice.

Also since you dont have the front window vent visors, i would just take off the rear ones.

About that muffler hang, mine does the same but not nearly as low, my straps are both fine, but the mufflers still droop about 2-3'' lower than they are supposed to... I tried spacers, but they fell out, I un screwed the passenger side on ethen forced it up then re-screqwed it back in, so my pass is a bit higher than my driver side, but I get the strap off the driver side to re attach it tighter and higher than it is right now, and its really pissing me off. Im about to say forget it and have a muffler shop customize a catback system to get a transverse style muffler back there and have it with dual outlet to quad tips like the new GTs.

I know I threadjacked - but help us clueless 4th gen guys out, we dont want anymore typical n-body droopy exhaust.

Console is going to be staying out for the time being until the transmission finishes being serviced after I change the carpet.. and while the carpet is out IM going to lay my 4 Guage wiring as well. Heres a better shot of the console out.
