Scratch X

can i use Scratch X all over the car like a wax, or is it just for touch ups?

I wouldnt use it all over the car because its meant for touch ups. But i dont know how it would effect it if you did.

You can use scratch X on your whole car,it says it safely removes scratches,swirls and oxidation,so it is made to do the whole car. It will clean up the clear coat plus remove the scratches on the clear coat to make the paint shine. I use it all the time and it works grat on darker paints.

I've used it before, and it's okay, except I found it very hard to remove. I was buffing my arms off before the stuff came off. It filled in the swirls ok, but it didn't give me a level of gloss and shine I was happy with.

I have used it on my entire black car twice. I wax it also, afterwards but it should not hurt anything. I know It did not effect my car in a negative way. I trust Meguiar's with most everything they make.
