anyone ever installed one of these on a GA? i've seen them advertised and i was flipping through summit and it said they had them for 99+ cars. that's all it said was 'cars', no specific years or anything. im not real sure how it could be universal since none of their other products are and it would be hard to make a universal computer program.
im not really thinking about buying one, but my curiosity is killing me. im not gonna spend $800 on a 4 cylinder GA that is by no means supposed to be a speed demon :P
does hypertech even make a programmer for the GA I4 or V6?

yeah, they talk bad about them on my full size chevy forum too. i know they wont be as good as a custom tune, but i dont think they suck THAT bad. my dad put a programmer on his 99 Z71, and it made a night/day difference with it. im wanting to order a custom chip for my truck, but gonna wait till i get done with what im wanting to do with it........i might not even need it.
i just thought the powerpac was an interesting concept. i've been looking at SUVs and i thought it would look pretty cool to have one mounted in the dash like a screen.
and like i said, im NOT going to order any kind of performance parts for my fiances GA. it's a 4 cylinder with lots of extra weight from a stereo. for one thing the car isn't made to be a speedster. and second she dont need anymore power than it has right now. i dont like her driving my truck because it's much more powerful than the GA and she likes to use it.
and i was just kind of curious if hypertech made a programmer for these cars. i've never seen one advertised, curiosity was eatin at me
:) thanks for the advice though

From what I've seen... the only GM applications are V8s.

the majority of them are for V8s, but i've seen them for a few of the 3.8s and 4.3s........so they're more popular V6s
