haha. They didnt take anything! They acidently opened the guarage(sp?) and ran away. I dont think they knew it was the stock head unit. I think they were trying to take the whole car instead of a cd player. I found blood on my egnition(sp?) but any ways everything got put back together =)

That reminds me of my what my friend told me about when he was little....
His older brother had some friends of his that were brothers who kept getting their car broken into and stereo taken. Enough was enough after the second time. You know how some of those radios slide out? Well they first put thick seat covers on their car and covered all of the floor with disposible carpeting. Then fitted the underside of their radio with razorblades! Anyway after a while of nothing happening, one day they find their car broken into. Well needless to say, there was blood everywhere all over the seat covers. There was a trail of blood down the street too. Well they called the police and the police ended up finding the guy passed out in some bushes. Harsh but hey, don't steal peoples stuff.

It may sound like a great idea, but please keep in mind that the theif, even though in the wrong, can now sue for his injuries, and will probably win.

People are so stupid. Who trys to steal a car with no tools? Slidehammer etc.... Amateurs. When my dad worked for a repo business and somehow got a really cool kit for opening/taking a car. He quit after a accident. He was repoing a car and the wheels on the car were cut and he couldn't get into it. He called the boss and the boss told him take it by anymean he could and said pull it out of the lot with the wheels cut and then hook up to the front. My dad said **** it and tried to pull it out of the lot. The car sung out and took out 3 cars. Of course they bamed him. Well anyways I now have the kit. Well sorry to hear about your car man.

When I was installing for Best Buy I had my car parked 25 feet away in Toys R' us's parking lot right beside my install bay, and in broad daylight these kids got me. I didn't have an alarm at the time cause I just put my system in 2 days prior, it was going in on Friday and I got robbed on monday lol. But with all my customers and coming in and out, no one noticed a damn thing. Funny thing is.. I never played it loud around there for that very reason so I dont see how anyone knew I had a system. They stole my radio without a face, they stole my 2 amps, all my BURNT cd's, my radar detector without the power plug instead they stole my cell phone charger, they stole my 2 p3's but um.. left part of one on the corner of my trunk lid so they really only got one worth a damn lol. They broke my trunk lock, my trim bezzle, my door lock, bent my door, broke my shift knob, tore my dome light out (which is weird cause i have only seen thiefs do this at night, they popped my fuses and shorted out my caps cause they let the power and ground wires touch, oh and yea... they left the wiring harness for the radio.. so I was robbed by idiots for sure, who does that in broad daylight and gets shit they cant even use?

I beg to differ. Yeah it's a forseeable event that a car would get broken into, but there is no negligence in regards to the guy who had his car broken into. He has no lien to be held liable for someone breaking into his car. Trespassers have no lien under that title and therefore don't have many rights (in regards to compensation) and are held liable and negligent for their own actions, regardless. He can try to go to court, but 100% says it will be appealed and the lower jurisdictions will find him guilty.
