hey dos any one know what performance mods there is for my 2.3 Quad 4 DOHC ? Is there any sites that I can buy things from . I want a chip and and pullys . my friend has a cavy with a 3.1 V6 and he wants to race and I know my GA wont take him with out anything done to it maybe some one could help me out thanks .

is your car a 5speed or auto? Theres a few sites. Try www.the-race-shop.com www.mantapart.com (if you buy anything from manta, do it COD only, but buy from them at your own risk) theres some other sites i think, but right now i cant think of them. and you might want to look around www.quad4forums.com (just another forum)

There's not a whole lot of "bolt-ons" available, but with some research and a little skill + determination, you can often make your own parts (cold air intake, etc) or make parts meant for other engines fit.

You mentioned chip and pulley... there's no worthwhile "chips" on the market for the 95 Quad 4. There are several underdrive pulleys out there. Personally I'd grab the 2.3 HO pulley, since it's smaller/lighter but still offers OEM dampening.

Focus on exhaust and intake (in that order) for the most worthwhile gains.

There are tons of "junkyard swap" possibilties from the 2.3 HO... manifolds, pulley, etc. Search around here and Quad4forums.com for info first.

Do you have auto or manual? If yours is manual, you should be able to beat a stock 3.1 auto, without adding mods.
