I like the screen in the console, do you have any larger pictures of it? I also like the painted interior. Everything you've done with it so far looks great, keep us posted on what you're doing.

I love the interior, but not a fan of the body kit. But to one their own.

I like where your going with the car. But what the hell happened to the outside? Is your car covered with volcano ash?

lol um no... since I have a small garage all the dust from the fiberglass and from sanding the bondo and the factory paint and stuff off just kinda settles... since I dont drive this car right now it just sits there and collects the dust and will continue to collect it until im done with all my body work. No use in cleaning it off just to coat it all again ya know? Not to mention its like 20 degrees outside and I'd have to open my garage to clean it all off and im not doing that because it would take forever to heat back up to a reasonable temp. that would be good enough to do all my bondo work and fiberglass work in. Otherwise it wouldn't cure right and would be a complete waste.

That'd be cool, but you don't have to if you're too busy. You seem like you're really good with this stuff. I hope you stick around the forums for a while... I will hopefully be starting a project over the summer that includes a little fiberglassing, but I won't be on here (GAOC) much after spring break is over this weekend. Anyway, good luck with the mods, and hopefully see you around the boards sometime.

I have done ALOT more to the care here lately.. I am so tired of having it in the garage im just bustin ass to get it out... Right now im not trying to perfect every little detail.. I just wanna get it to a point to where I can finally drive it again and do the little pinholes and such whenever I feel the need.

well it's that time again I will have new pics up soon. Not much has changed at all. We haven't had a sitter for my 2 year old so I dropped to a part time pos job for the fall and winter. All of my time was consumed with that and watching the baby. Spring is in the air so my part time bs job goes out the window. I do alot of side job work during the summer so I make more money that way and it free's up almost all of my time. Time to start working on the GA again. stay posted for upcoming shots.

Overall, its gonna be sweet

Unfortunately its too late to say this but I will anyway, I would have highly suggested you don't mold your front fascia to the fenders, but whats done is done, and it's still gonna look sweet

Not a fan of the hood scoops mainly because they don't line up w/ the pontiac nostrils, but also because all that bondo is gonna shrink. I think you should get it finished and try and sell it and get an SD, S/CT or S/CT wanna be w/ functional scoops or aed hood

Having said that, your body work looks superior, I can't believe what you brought that front end from to what it is now! Is this something you are going to have done this year?

What are your plans for a drop & wheels?

wow awesome you're doing that all yourself.. I could plan it and draw out sketches of what I wanted to do, but I wouldn't attempt doing all that myself! Car's looking great so far :)

What are your plans for a drop & wheels? Yea I plan on molding them for sure however I also plan on making the dog house flip up like on a deisel that way its all smooth hood and everything. The planning and prep work is going to eat up alot of hours but I have yet to see a car do it not to mention im going to have to use hydro lifters to assist with the lifting. I also plan on putting on either bags or hyrdo's to raise the car to help prevent from rubbing the ground. :P

yeah that's gonna be sweet man

Not to burst your bubble, but I have seen ONE other person do it, that's it

It's that green car w/ the mercedes front headlight conversion. The car is seen on the east coast, and he was in drop jaw mag. Some of our other users may know the car i'm talking about, cause I can't remember his cardomain id, or even what to look it up as

you definitely aren't planning on driving this every day are you?

ManktheTank19

Gus I know which one you are talking about.

You should only mold the fenders to the kit if it will be a trailer queen. One bad bump or pulling in a driveway teh wrong way.......crack

No I dont plan on driving it everyday at all. I am looking into picking up a mid to late 90's supra to be my toy. This car has already won 3rd in 1 show and 1st in class in another. Not bad for being 1/8 of the way done lol. Its going to be all garage kept like it has been pretty much. That sucks that someone has already done something like that. Do you know if it's motorized or not? Because if not then thats the only way I figure I can go to make it different then his then lol. I am having my uncle look at the car later this week so we can decide if we want to build a frame on the back part of the car to make some gullwing door's. Being that it has a sunroof and all it won't be so easy but hey, nothing ever is. Engine mods aren't a main priorty anymore with me as of now. My main concern is just finishing the car up for the shows I attend. I was talking to a guy about a garrett turbo kit with innercooler but I wont do a turbo kit without new header's, exhaust, lightweight wheels ect. ect. I guess I cant say "I wont ever" because when I get a decent deal I usually take it lol. Lets just say I know where I wanna go with it, but now days money is hard to come by with a kid and all :-/

not that i'm bashing you, just wanted to give you correct information. On any turbo application, you won't use headers. You would use a turbo manifold, which is basically a stock exhaust manifold that has been modified to mount a turbo on it. Header(s) are exhaust manifolds that flow way more air thru bigger & angled differently tubing

Anywho, off the top of my head I think it was just a pull up. But I like I said, he's the ONLY other one with a ga that I have seen do it... not saying no one else has it done, but as far as the best of the best in the ga world, I honestly think that I am aware of the top 10 ga's (me being one of them :) ) and no one else has even thought about it. All us 96-98 boys are doing s/c and the 99+ boys are starting to get into the aed headlights (like paul) and doing 20" wheels w/ bags n what not so I don't think you'll have too much to worry about.

What color are you going to paint the car? I would suggest either getting the black housing headlights w/ the clear reflector, or the standard ones w/ the clear reflector, just get rid of the orange reflector on the front, that will make a huge difference as well

Having a sunroof isn't actually that bad of an idea if you think about it. That is the point where you weld in your metal (after you've built a roll cage and support the front / rear of the car while you cut it up) and put the actual hinges for the doors. Then you just gotta do some glassing, make it look good, paint it and BAM... first ga w/ gull wing doors :)

I was thinking of a twin turbo system too but for a GA thats a bit much for the 3400. I was talking to a guy that was able to upgrade to a gtp engine but changed everything on his ride to compensate just for that. I dont have it in me to do all that extra work. I was just saying that I will not just throw a turbo on there without upgrading all the other shit to make the turbo system even better. I know I dont need all that to just be sloppy and throw a turbo on hahaha. I'm not new to a turbo system. I had one on my 93 Probe GT. That thing ran like a champ, errrr till I pushed it and smoked the engine. I was going to throw in a klze engine for the probe which is the japanese version of the engine but I ran out of time due to the baby being born so I just parted out the turbo and sold the car piece by piece till i was down to a blown engine and a shell pretty much lol

oh yea the gulwing doors are for the back doors, I'm doing 180 degree lambo upfront. er.. at least I want to. I Think I am doing away with the flip flop trunk due to increased rattle with my system. :-/ pro's and con's suck, I just hate having to go back over my work.

lol I have been MIA for awhile Trish. Good to see u again :P. I just posted like 5 more pics on my cardomain, of the things I did get done on the car since my last update. I do tamper with the car a lot however its all electrical and is completely boring to talk about. Things like batteries alternators and running series of batteries and making designs and ripping them back out lol.. I could ramble forever but I will spare you all.

I started on my Projector Headlights yesterday. Looks good how they are however I will need to do fiberglassing and molding to them still. I think I am going to leave the area inside of the projector chrome colored and paint the rest black, this way I still have a nice reflection behind the lense and a nice dark look to the headlight.

I took some pics but have yet to put them on my pc. I will get them up within the next couple days.

here is what I have so far on the projector headlights. I haven't decided on a final design. I may end up making a whole new mold for them .. I haven't decided if I wanna put that much work into them yet or not with having so many other unfinished projects.
