I'm going to get some GT bumbers for my car and was wondering can a paint shop paint them without have to hold on to my car for a few days?

As long as you paint them before you put them on, there should should be no reason for them to hold your car.

I though that I migh have to so they can match the color.

They will never be able to match the colour exact...easpecially with your car being 11 years old. They should be able to get it close though. As for leaving your car there, no, they should be able to paint it without your car being there. they will just have to get the colour and then you could go.

Do the GT bumpers bolt on the same way as the SE? How much do you think it'll cost to have them painted?

Price depends on area. In western NY, it's $300 for a bumper. It should be less for two. Make sure they add the stuff to make the paint flexible.

I know. They didn't put that stuff in the paint when they sprayed my sisters Monte Carlo front bumber and its all chipped off now.
