I find that plastic polish works pretty good... I got some 3M stuff, and my dad just got some mejuiars stuff...

I didn't even know Meguiar's made products for clear plastic. It sounds like those would do the trick. I may have to try those products on the black plastic sideview mirrors. Those have gotten dull, and I can see some hairline scratches in the sunlight. Someone had suggested bug, tar, and treesap remover as a method to brighten them up, and it did work ok, but it didn't really help with the hairline scratches. I'm gonna try the Meguiar's stuff.

I have tried the Meguires plastic stuff on mine, just to make them shinier. Works good!! I always make sure to wax them when I wax my car too.

I've never seen or used the meguiars stuff before, but they just mailed us some.. lol.. so I guess they do make it! I've used the 3M stuff since last summer though.. it is great for anything that is plastic.. and if you have a problem with fogging up backup lights, this works nice for that too!
