With my new 99 GA comes new upgrades. The first I want to do is a CAI. Now I do not want to spend a lot of money, so I have been looking on ebay. Seem to have some decent ones for about $70 with shipping with K&N filters.

Now does anyone know where I can get a GOOD QUALITY CAI for not a whole lot of money? Or will the ebay ones work well.

Come on people, I need some help here.

I had a 95 where I didn't have all these option. Now there are too many options and I don't know what to get.

Dr. Speed has one for about $200. Or you can make your own by buying aluminum tubing, rubber couplers, and a K&N filter. I'm not sure how the ones on ebay are so I can't say, but I'd go with the Dr. Speed one or to save some $$ make your own :)

Do you have a link to the ebay one?

I can't link to ebay but the item # is 8042988829

Not necessarily that one, but something along those lines.

$200 is a bit more than I wanted to spend as of yet. The ebay ones average $50+ with shipping.

I think it would just be easier to get one for the GA. Price would be about the same, but I wouldn't need to worry about fitting issues.

no.

It's not a name brand filter, and it's not a FULL CAI. You still will have the black ribbed rubber portion which will retrict airflow. I'd check out the Civic CAI if I were you...and make sure that you get a good name brand filter with it :)

OK, then I'll just have to wait a bit longer and get some extra money.
