I have a 1999 SE 2Dr that has some warping on the dash. On the corners towards the windows have lifted up and also the vent on top and the V point where the speedo and RPM's are that has popped up do to warping..
anyone know of a fix? maybe screwing them down with a flat matching color sheet of metal or tougher plastic.

there is nothing you can do I also have a peeling dash and I have looked and asked different auto uphosltery shops and most tell me to get a molded dash cover I have found one place that sells them and the website is www.carxccessory.com the price is about $65.00 plus shipping but I think they have it on sale so check it out.

Isn't that a thing made out of a carpet like material?

yes its carpet like material or velour you can choose sorry took so long been busy
There is a type of wax made by Turtle wax, it has some odd name like 2001, or something, I used it on my dash, and is allowed a crack on my dash to close a little. So it might help some with the warping.

i have the same problem. the trim around the gauges wont fit at the top. If you bought a new one it probably would happen again.
