View Full Version : NEED TO FIND ASAP: seat brackets

ok so i need the entire bracket setup that the actual seats mount to (the part that slides forward and back)... it is also what actually bolts the seat to the car floor

i called a pontiac dealer, and he tried to tell me this part is discontinued... can ANYONE help me find them? I need both the driver and passenger side

there are 2 96-98 in a junk yard by me, both with seats in them. let me know whats up. i am off work friday and i can get there. i can get a price and put it on my tab :lol:

no way...lol

but pat's seats that i got from him had hack-job brackets... and by hack job i mean the seats came on their own slider so they cut the brackets all apart and just put the feet on... The new seats im getting need the whole slide/feet setup so i need to get new ones... the dealer i called told me they were discontinued... how gay

which dealer did u call? and have u tried calling northside?

GM should have parts for 10 years after he car is made. at least thats what I herd anyway.

yea,dunno what kind of dealer you called Gus because our dealership gets parts for like 80's cars from GM. Should be able to get them through some dealership.

yea well

im just gonna have to call a diff one cause the guy was kinda being a dick

and he asked for my vin and said my vin was calling for power seats, to which i was like "look, power seats did not come in my car" and then he mumbled something and so i hung up

gus theres a few pontiac dealerships around up. and try calling northside cause they are really close to you

Ya theres a 97 green 2-door GT up here with 23,000 miles on it.. hit in the right door. Sad to see low mile GA's in the junk yard. I know I can get a good deal on used parts from a guy I know up the road. But it always hurts to see those wrecked GA's...
