METRA - GMRC-01 problem.

hey guys im having problems with the chine moduel.
sometimes it will keep chimeing and chimeing , i have to unpllug the battery for it to quit. any ideas why?

had this happen to a customers not too long ago. Swapped it out for a new one and it was good.

I called Metra about a month ago with something of the same problem. You have to 're-learn' your aftermarket interface if the battery has been unplugged for a bit. What you need to do is unplug the wire\ harness from the interface then let it sit a bit. Put your key in the off position, plug the wires in, then turn your key to on, off, on, off, and on and then your set. By the way, the people at Metra are great people to work with!

yea I mentioned something on here half a year or so ago about my problems and the only thing that came up was a fried harness. I called Metra asking where I could get a new one and they worked me through it. Before you get another one I would give them a call
