I want to remove the airbag/horn cover so I can paint it. How do I take it out without it exploding in my face?

wedge a screw driver behind it really hard and pry like mad!!! :D

j/k don't...You shouldn't have to remove it to paint it. Just mask off everything around it and paint it with a brush :)

??? What about brush marks? Also I have the door panel off and was thinking of painting it. Should I mask off the top cloth or just spray the whole thing?

So what do you think about the door panel?

there should be a fuse on the drivers side fuse panel on the very top u are supposed to be able to disconnect that and then disconnect the battery and wait like 10 to 15 minutes so the extra energy will disperce and it should be safe and then when you are done connect the fuses back together hen ur done then connect the battery and the sit in the back seat and turn the car on and wait. that is what the gm dealer told me to do so i could change my seat because of the sensor located under the seat

make sure that you are using vinyl dye and NOT paint when doing the door panels/dashboard/steering wheel....i made a post in the how to section of dying that stuff while its in the car for the dash....same prep work would apply to the door panels when they are out of the car....but i did the steering wheel while it was in the car...just take a foam brush and spray the dye into a bowl and brush it on....you won't see the marks from the brush at all if done properly....

Big Joe sprayed his and it looks great. I spray alot of my interior all ready and it looks great. I thinking I'll just paint the arm rest and door handle insert. Black and gray look good.
