I live out of the city and I drive 120km a day. Its all Highway Km's I dont do any city driving. I was told that Highway km is much easier on your Car compared to the same mileage driven in the city..is this true?

I easily put 30,000 km a year and I am slightly worried that all this driving is going to kill my car prematurly. I have 170,000 KM on it and its a 1999....

Anyone else do a ton of driving with their GA? if so any long term problems that develop due to all the Km's?

The wear on an engine, and the car, tires, brakes, etc. in general, is much less 'on the highway' than 'around town'.

Not much you can do about it; your driving needs are what they are.
The car won't last forever, but good attention can help you get maximum use/lowest cost operation.

Do the regular maintenance.
Keep the engine in good tune, use quality gasoline even if more expensive, get regular oil changes, and keep the tires at proper inflation.
Find a good mechanic and get a checkup annually.
Whenever an SES or SVS light comes on, check HERE first.

Do a 'search' for other threads regarding maintenance requirements, and see the current thread in 'Problems and Solutions' regarding the potential problems for 2000 GA's; yours will be nearly identical.

Good luck, and :welcome:

well i know someone at work with a 92 ga that has 320,000km and still running :D and my 94 grandam se 3100v6 got over 274,000k clicks on it . havent had any major problems yet. i keep good care of it all the time. ive had engine bolts loosen on me and tilt steering bolts and sparks plugs not firing. i thought for sure when i was driving and notice the car that it wasnt accelerating as fast and car shaking at high speeds. good to let the car run and walk around and listen for anything wierd.
well like you said i do alot of long trips also and city driving. i get great milage on the highway.

with all the driving, keep checking all fluids, airfilter, fuelfilter, tires kept up to right pressure and so on.
