It seems in my moms 99 GAGT 3400 the Low coolant light will just randomly come on in certain spots, but the coolant isnt low, its dont this For probably a year. No leaks, it just had the LIM done, and its been doing it for a year or more, so could it be the Level sensor going bad? Where is it located?

I think the sensor is in the reservoir, try tapping the side of it with a screwdriver and see if it is just stuck.

is it mechanical, like a float or what? No time to tap it or nothin, cause it will come on for like 10 seconds then go off :???:
While driving the car, lol, ghetto ass thing, it will make the annoying ten thousand deceble dinging noise when it comes on, sooo annoying, my mom hates it

I think what he means is pop the hood and tap on it. Now or later, just do it. Air bubbles sometimes get trapped up by the sensor. The sensor lives inside the over flow reserve tank thing. Tapping on it may dislodge it. That explains why it comes and goes. I bet it acts up most taking corner. The water is shifting and moving the bubble.
If you can park on a hill when you do it...it may help.

My mom always parks on a hill for work, and when it does happen, its going in a strait line ALWAYS and a slight incline. Air bubble huh, ill try that out then

the magnetic float sensor sometimes can get stuck on the cavity the fix is to remove the reservoir and flush the hell out of it,rust tends to form in there if car has being neglected
