I have been thinking on what kind of exhaust to get for my 3400 '99 SE. I was thinking about borla but found SLP to be cheaper. I had then gone searching for exhaust clips to hear the different tones produced. I decided that I liked the Flowmaster 80 series as well as the Borla.

Now I understand that Borla and SLP are the only companies that produce prefabed cat backs for out cars. Would it be a better idea to get the SLP and just swap out the muffler with one of the better ones? Or do you think it would be cheaper and more practical to get said muffler and get pipes bent by a shop?

My friend with his 2000 GA GT has the SLP and it sounds incredible! Best sounding GA I've heard to date. That's what I would get for sure if I needed new exhaust.

So I guess I could get SLP and if I don't like the sound, just change out the muffler.

Need?

Do you have money? Is your exhaust stock?

If you answered yes to both these questions then you "need" to get it.
