Yeah having fun with a 96 GASE with the wet carpet deal.
Have a new twist on this one though.
Under the ECM, behind the sound deadening material, in the typical leak area. There is a aluminum foil looking stuff that has been stuck there with a tar like material. This aluminum foil is pretty thick and has very clean cutouts in it. So this must be a dealer fix????? Problem is its wet there.
Yeah this whole leak deal should be a manufacture buy back for the full original price. Heee heee, since this is a 250 dollar wonder.
I like these cars, I just wish they would have put a bit more thought into the trouble areas.
So is this foil deal something the dealers have done? And any ideas of where the water is comming from?
