Leak under passenger side.

I own a 1987 Pontiac grand am. It is leaking a a red fluid under the passenger side of the car rite under the door... im thinking it has to do with the transmission? Its just a steel line that loops any ideas? Could it be somthing with power steering?

is it leaking at a crimp, thats what mine did, they turned out to be discontinued and i had to get some High pressure powersteering line and rigged it up with hose menders and worm gear clamps

hmmm no not realy its just a loop under the pass. side its got some wire wraped around it to protect it but i think that ove rthe years it has rusted out and i have no clue wha tthe part number wopuld be or even what to tell them it is..

That sounds like a brake line! Be careful.

Well no i dont think so its 3/8 line and has red fluid coming out of it...ill get a picture mabie that would help because im at a loss !! the only reason i think its somthing with the steering is its dirty red....not clean red fluid i just had the tranny flushed.
