Radio Problem

I have a co worker with a Grand Am. Actuallly it is his wifes car and he got into it this morning. He noticed that there was no bass in the car.

Just your normal factory Monsoon system.. Can those go bad?

What should he check for?

First, Id find the fuses for the amp... No idea where it is, as I dont have a 5th gen. Chances are thats what the problem is. Otherwise It could be a bad amp itself, or even a bad sub.
