Ok I bought some mesh for my car on ebay and with it they sent me a performance module kit. It doesn't look like a normal one and say it for only the 92-95 Grand Ams on the back of the module. You think its worth installing seeing how I got it for free? I also got a CD that tells you how it Flip Flop the trunk, reverse style flip hood, angel eye conversion, lambo conversion and more. I thought it was cool they sent me the extra stuff for free.

performance module...? Sounds like an IAC resistor mod, and I would say no, don't use it...where does it plug in?

I bought one of them before and this doesn't look like it. Unsure where it plugs in to cause I haven't check out the install instrutions yet. I'll go do it now. Hell for free its worth a shot. The IAC I had made the car rev high and I later found out it was broke.

It is a resistor. I couldn't get the instrustions to open off the cd they sent me which I don't get cause I opne files off it before. How do you install it? Figure It worth a shot if it just hooks on.

uh no...don't install it. All it does is mess with your computer. It trick the comp into thinking the car is bringing in cooler air then it actually is. They're garbage and shouldn't be installed on ANY vehicle.

Why dont you listen?? that thing they sent you was free because it is a piece of shit mod that is worthless, and will do more HARM to your damned car than good.
Hell, then again, go put it in, when you screw your car up beyond repair maybe you will learn to listen to someone who knows wtf they are talking about..........................

**First you must locate your IAT sensor located on or in close proximity to your air filter box or the tube leading to the filter enclosure. Its about the size of a spark plug (see pic. below) Consult your operators manual if you still are unable to locate the sensor or speak to your local mechanic who will be able to help.
Step-by-Step Installation Directions:
NOTE: Be sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal before continuing with the step by step installation instructions that follow
1.) Peel back tape covering the wires leading to IAT sensor. This will expose 2 small wires.
2.) Clip 1 of the 2 wires leading to the IAT sensor in the middle, it doesn’t matter which one
3.) Strip the two ends of the wires that you just cut and attach the 2 supplied additional connectors to the newly stripped wire portion and crimp into place.
5.) Next, just plug the male end connector of the mod chip into the female end connector of the factory wiring.
6.) Then plug the female end of the connector of the mod chip into the male end connector of the factory wiring.
7.) Simple plug and play installation! If you ever wish to undo the install just unplug the 2 connectors from the chip and plug the 2 other additional connectors back together and the install will be completely reversed and back to normal
8.) Finally reconnect the battery cable and start the engine and verify that the Check Engine light is not on. If it's not, you're all set. If it is, go back and check your connections and ensure a solid firm link between the chip and the wires
HERE ya go.. Have fun breaking your car son............

I was thinking of splicing in the connector some I can take it on and off for the track. I would leave it on fulltime. Plus I thought you just plugged it in. I don't think I'll be cutting any wires.
