Is there a Flowmaster 40 series that can fit on the 92-95 GAGT's?

Yeah
They are shorter than the stock muffler so they will need to install an extension pipe.
I just got a 40 Delta Flow w/ Magnaflow tips on Thursday and I'm loving it.

What do they sound like? Are they louder than the others?

As someone pointed out to me in another thread, flowmaster has sound clips on their website (and I forgot to check first..oops)

www.flowmastermufflers.com (http://www.flowmastermufflers.com)

This will give you a general idea of how the individual models may sound.

Are you wanting to just replace the muffler or do you want to replace the pipe also? If you just do the muffles then you can try and squeeze 40's on there. If you look on the GT's the passenger side muffler is smaller because there is less room. You will have to modify the mounts or the spare tire well. If you are replacing the piping too then I would go with an 80 series (single in dual out) and run some custom pipe. I'm pretty sure that 40's are louder than 80's but maybe I'm wrong.

Ain't nothin wrong with just one tip.... Or if no emissions just place it where the cat was and side dump it....

Not sure if by others you mean other flowmasters or other muffler brands.
With my DF the interior noise is very minimal, I barely notice it, esp with my stereo on. Apparently it's decently loud outside b/c my gram next door can tell when I leave and my mom can hear me leaving for a little bit after I leave. If you want it to be louder just get the standard 40 instead of the DF.

Check out Performance Peddler's Ebay store, they are the cheapest price that I've noticed for Flowmasters.

Thanks for the advice guys.

E-Check is no longer present in the state of Ohio by the way, that's why before I was asking if I'd lose backpressure or anything if I straight piped over the cat, but I'm leaving the cat on and removing the resonator if I can't get ahold of any mufflers soon.

Because if I get mufflers, I'm getting the whole exhaust all at the same time, I need new pipes...

Why not just get larger piping and end the cat then?

3300 with dual 40's. 3100 should sound about the same.
