I was looking at the CAI's on ebay, and the Dr Speed one... whats the difference OTHER than the price? the Dr Speed one is 100 bucks more and they look the same. I'm just wondering if there's holes/grommets for the sensors on the ebay one... anyone else get the 3pc one from "ChromeIntakes"....

its hard to say if the ebay one has the proper bungs and whatnot for the sensors since they dont show any close up shots.
I'd email them and ask since their description also says up top it uses T-304 tubing (a stainless designation) and the bottom says it uses aluminum. Just have to love ebay sellers like this.

I bought a $50 off ebay from chrome intakes...it was just the one piece that came w/ a silicone coupler, a chromed aluminum pipe (very similar to a civic intake) and a K&N filter. It works fine and I havn't had any problems...but IDK about the 3 piece set.

thats the intake i just got. it works just fine. it has all the proper holes for the sensors, but you'll have to extend that vacuum line or whatever it is thats closet to the throttle body. i just used a piece of nylon hose from ace, it was .29 cents.
and that picture they have got doesnt exactly look like what u get.

I got my CAI from CromeIntakes as well, everything was great and fit fine. theirs come with the censor holes / grommets
i had to modify a little bit of the wiring to get one of the censors to reach, but other than that it's fine

I actually remember Tebore said something about the CAI from there, that you should remove the burr's from the edges and such... i forget exactly what he said..

i would have done that except the line goes to the rear valve cover right under the coil packs, so there isnt a lot of room to work with.

Yeah they have them pre-made so they do have some dust. Gotta clean it unless you want all the in your engine

i was wondering where the damn coilpack and spark plugs were...i know this is off topic but do these cars have plug wires too? cause the expedition i had only had coilpacks and spark plugs...and it was on pack per plug with 8 plugs.
