stock security question

my mom has a 99 grAND am and thats why i decided to buy the

almost same car. my question is, on her car when you hit lock on

the remote it honks. like beep beep. but on mine it doesnt and

you can just hear the doors lock how can i get mine to honk like

that when i hit the button?

youll probably have to take it to the dealer, they should have a book with all the "codes" you might have them right them all down for you too.

I know my moms intrigue has a set of buttons to press to turn light blinking/horn honking on and off when you lock/unlock the doors, although setting it wasnt that fun though, cause i swear, each "switch" has a 10 step command to turn it on and off.

I have my moms car to honk and blink the lights when she locks it and to blink the lights when she unlocks it. my car on the other hand cant do any of that stuff.
