i wanna test out my monitor and i need a power source so i was wondering if you guys knew the voltage and amps i need for it. i tried searching and didn't find anything. im guessing 12 volts but i still need the amps. i wanna test it before i get it all in the car and then find out the monitor dont work.

what amps are you talking about? and ifyour talkin about car monitor, should need 12v and ground.. and a signal (dvd).. not sure what "amps" u need...

amps as in to measure the current so i dont fry anything

that monitor isnt gonna pull any kinda current to worry about, even my big 23inch crt only uses 65 watts, i would put a 1 amp fuse inline with it to protect it, though it should be internally fused,

look on the back of the monitor and it should say how much power it uses in watts. divide this by your batteries cranking voltage to get the size of fuse it needs.
