Hi Jessica. I live in Pittsburg, I orginially come from the mid-west. I too am sick and tired of this weather for sure. I work in San Francisco. There are plenty of us Grand Am owners here in the Bay Area and up in the Sac area. We do have meets but not if it doesn't stop raining that is!!

I'd come but I can't get anyone to paint my car. It looks like hell. And there is something wrong with the Porsche. Either a vacuum leak or the timing is off. And I have a motorcycle but no license yet.

Darren said he knew someone and could hook me up..... no luck.

I know.... damn, his name slips my mind.....the dude came to my house for a BBQ.... his wife's name is Mimi and they had a baby not to long ago..... someone help me out here!!! Anyhoo, he had his car done at Maaco twice somewhere in Oakland/San Leandro and they did a good job. If I have to resort to Maaco I want to find out where he took it exactly. I don't have a lot of bucks to spend on a paint job.

Any ideas for me on where to get the car painted for under $1500-$2000?

not sure if anyone has seen any of my updates, but I have my camaro now, and im working on making it fast. its great now that i lost of my extra baggage (sandy) my life has been on a total upswing. I got a great job as an engineer, an awesome car, and i love live with randy (smooth1269). chances are if theres a meet we will both bring our cars (unless its far away, and we might just come in one of our cars).

anyways, just giving a shout out due to this old thread being back from the dead.

wow, yea i wish i had that luck. 2 weeks after getting the car i got a ticket doing 63 in a 45. i was glad cus in that same spot the night before i was going 120 racing a pusstang. lol

Hey Dave im back for good the Air Force cut like 150,000 jobs a lot of public affairs people so now im back in SoCal for good I'm a delivery driver for BJ's right now and in June im goin to ITT-Tech for Computer Networking soo once im done there i may end up moving back up norht to san jose, santa clara area, i think a buddy of mine has a house in milpitas but im not sure. soo yeah let me nkow im up for a get together.
