HERE!! I am posting in the right section now! HAPPY?!?!

Sorry I didn't look at the section title before I posted, so get off my case.... why do some of the moderators around these boards have a power trip?

Okay, now that I've complained....

NOW.... can someone give me some input about my car??

Here is a picture of the kit after test fitting it. I am having one problem. The problem where the hood matches up has been since fixed. I am looking for ideas of what to do about the sagging kit underneath my headlights.

Also, what have others with the RK kit done about the auxillary reverse lights? I have 4" rectangular driving lights that I was thinking about mounting vertically on each side of the license plate.

Thanks.

If you have a complain Katlyn, please contact the Moderator via PM or me directly as there is no need to post your displeasure on the board ... thanks!

On topic ... it looks to me like you have a molding issue and I would contact RK ... if you have already done this and they say it is normal, I would be more inclined to use some sort of custom bracket from underneath holding up the area from the bumper supports ... not sure exactly HOW that I would fix that ... good luck!!

Yeah, I did that. It probably is normal, the kit is a little flimsier than the stock bumper. I was thinking of double sided molding tape and some straight metal brackets or pieces of sheet metal to bring it up flat. What do you think?

I was thinking more like a couple of shelf type brackets coming upwards from the bumper supports thus pushing upwards underneath the cover ... not demeaning your kit but if it is "that flimsy" not to sit straight across by itself, I wouldn't be very happy :( .. other wise, it looks OK :)

I think I figured it out. I removed the bumper reinforcement because it didn't seem to fit right with it on. I am going to see if I can put it back on and then see if it fits better. RK says it should be doing that with the reinforcement in place.

... that will do it :)

Use some Duct tape, if it's good enough for NASCAR it's good enough for your car. :D

There's a slogin for ya Kelly! lol

Last I knew, Kelly wasn't a southern redneck!

Hope you get it figured out. To me, it looks as if some other part of the kit weren't lined up correctly, and it would cause the weakest area to bow in (just under the headlight).

Under the bumper cover, there is a black piece of plastic that they call a bumper. On top of that is a white styrofoam piece that supports the cover around the headlight area.

If your car still has the white piece, build it up with expandable foam in a can. Cut it down and sand it to get the support you need for the new front end.
