5 Speed Auto

Do any of you think the 3400 would be faster and/or quicker if it had the 5 speed auto, say from an Equinox??? i was just thinkin about it so i thought i would post.

I have an equinox and a grand am.. I doubt it, the aisin 5 speed in the equinox is geared more for low end

The only way putting in another tranny would make the car faster is if it has a better FDR or it's alot lighter. Firmer shifts help also.

a 3.93 FDR would be nice for our cars but suck on the highway.
