OK, before you flame me... I tried searching here, on google, on eBay and pretty much anywhere and still can't find the answer.

I was wondering what is the exact brand and part number of the dash install kit that has the little pocket underneath the stereo. I bought two kits - one from wal-mart (scosche) and the other off of ebay (GMT420 or something similar) but none of them fit... they are both too short (about 1/2 inch).

So please, tell me what is the correct brand of that kit and the part number. It's for a 99 GA SE. I've seen people have it in their cars but I've been unsuccessful finding it.

I really want to put it, since I could use the pocket underneath the stereo for the bass knob I have and also for storage... Plus...I don't like how my thin stereo is spaced right in the middle of the huge opening of the Delco player. It kinda doesn't look right to me.

The one I'm looking for kinda looks like this:

GMK420 doesn't fit on my 99 GA. Not only it comes short but also the screw openings are off.

the link you posted is for the metra adapter and that's what i currently have. this is the adapter that spaces the stereo right in the middle of the opening.
