Yup thats right, finally :) Brad (Bszopi) posted this on GAGT. His exact quote, "The first run is almost done and they will be shipped to the coating company (HPC) next week. So look for actual shipping to customers to be within the next week or 2."
I cant wait to get mine! :horay: :bounce: :travis: :bananna:

Awesome. The TOG headers are way too much IMO. But the S&S are right in the proper ball park as far as headers are concerned.
Larger aftermarket, more products, more competition from vendors = lower prices.

Will these work for a '97 3100? I don't think that there is a difference between the 3100s and the 3400s.

anyone happen to know if these will pass CA smog, or if they will make that much of a difference with emmisions?

I suspect they wont pass, but thats IMO. dont wanna have to pay to swap them everyother year

They might not pass a visual, check or write either S&S or SEMA for laws regaurding this.
But I don't see why they would effect the hydrocarbons or sniffer tests, thats the job of the catalytic convertor.

From what I've been reading apparently they aren't CARB approved.:???: So being in Cali...well, you can take the chance but I'd be wary

thats right they arent CARB approved thats 1 reason they are cheaper than TOG (they also dont have a lifetime guarantee), as far as it fitting a 3100.....theres a thread either here or in the 3100 section on it

Shorty headers don't usually cause much of a problem with emissions , the long tube ones are another story altogether . The farther the Cat is placed away from the exhaust ports the worse off you are . But like you say the visual could be a problem :D

MJE95GAGT - can't seem to find the thread you mentioned. I did try the search button, without much luck. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, if you come across it, let me know where I can find it.

thanks

They changed the price last week which now includes the headers AND flex/cat pipe, but I have been told you should be able to get just the headers at their normal price
