Im really in a pickle here(wiring question)

I just bought an amp, sub and wiring kit and i need to run my amp power cable but my dad is against drilling holes on the count of this car had a previous leak, and my dad doesnt want to deal with it again. I searched through the threads and found some pictures showing some plugs at the corners of the engine bay, but i tried to get into one of those but on the 3300 its a plug, not just a open hole to run loose wires through. My question is how and where is the best factory space to run 8 gauge wire to an amp? right now i have the RCA's, amp turn-on, and ground wires all mounted and the sub is in my trunk and i cant find a single place to run this damn power wire! if someone can post a picture showing the best place on a 92-93 3300 for this, id be very happy and it will save me hours of frustration.

untill then go to the steering column. thats where most will run theirs... i ran mine there.... but i also have an 04...so there may not be room?

dont let your dad know ur drilling a hole.

and then pop a hole in your firewall place a groumet in there then after u run the wire rtv the hole

i ran mine through the fender or something, then up through the little tube that connects the wires to the power window/lock controls.

sure..i guess you could run it like that.

I would just drill it next to the steering column, or have a stereo drill the hole for a lil' bit o' nothing and run the wiring, if you drill it torward the top of the firewall, rtv it, then you should not have any leak probs at all, unless you pounding it with high presure water every day. j/k
