Well since I have to take the new engine back out of the truck again I decided maybe I'll start painting and polishing some stuff under the hood to match the new paint scheme.

I've already polished the throttle body (when I ported it), and the A/C lines and canister. The alternator and A/C unit have been cleaned up but not polished or anything.

So after the sun went down and I packed up my tools and covered the truck I came inside to my work bench and started working on the computer.

It was a dull white to match the current paint. Now it's Chrysler Red with a Translucent Candy red over the top of it and two coats of clear.

I wasnt sure if I'd like it but I love it. Next is the throttle body cap, throttle cable and transmission calbe brackets, and the ABS computer.

One more to show the depth of the paint a little better. The real color is closer to the top one, maybe a inbetween both photos. And no it's not wet still.

I also polished the bar holding it in and painted the base of it a flat black.

This is a quick one to show how the AC line came out,

Well since I liked how the computer came out I decide to paint my throttle linkage bracket and my kick down cable brackets. I'd like to do the distributor cap and the part of the intake tube that attaches to the throttle body.
