OK, what order do I do them in? I always thought it was:

Good Wash: Wash, rince, dry, wax

Normal wash: Wash, rince, dry.

But my neighbor says you shouldn't dry as it will scratch the car?

Also, when do you use a clay bar and which one?

this has to do with cleaning, but you wash, dry, wax. You want to dry it so it doesnt have water spots.

Well you can get scratches if you dry it with garbage. Use a 100% cotton towel...clean....or better yet, the Absorber. I use it and it looks great when I'm done.

Right..always use a chamois to dry you car. If you grab the bath towel from the house, it will scratch your paint over time.

I've tried chamois and it 'fills' with water too quickly. You need about 8 of them to dry your car. I use 100% cotton towels that are just for the car and they are much better. If you drop it on the ground though, toss it in the wash and get another one. I use 2 big towels that way. Once for the quick absorb and then I go to the dry part to get excess water off. I do this for the whole car and then use chamois for any left over spots I may have missed. Works for me! Hey, what's an Absorber?

The best method to dry your car is right on Zaino's website. You need to use a white 100% cotton towel that's made in the USA. The towels made overseas will scratch the finish. After just 1 use, you have to wash and dry the towels. If you re-use it without washing it, the dirt embedded in the towel from the last time you used it will scratch the finish. Also, you have to use white because the dye in colored towels will also affect your results.
