Does this fit on the hinges or use hood pins, or what? I have a dent in my hood where my previous owner of my car let the friggin' shock housing break through to the hood and it bent it a little so I need a new hood anyway, but for some reason, without going to the junk yard, it's apparently cheaper to buy this one than replacing the current one.

i dont see hood pins in the pic. i am sure it bolts up to the stock hinges. call the company and find out about mounting aplications :D

That's what I'm leaning towards because in the 92-95 version section it says the same as the 96-98:

"Racing style lift hood. Does not attach to factory hinges"

But the 96-98 version has hood pins visible but the 92-95 version doesn't. So I'm confused.

that hood doesnt look right, the scoops look unproportionally large.

It reminds me of a rounded mongoose style.

its a pin on style hood, I hear it can be modified to fit the factory hinges easily, but it will definitly have to be modified to do so.

Yes, that is the hood I have. I received it from FX in December. It is a fiberglass hood (the whole hood is) If you want to attach it to your OEM parts, you have to do it yourself or use hood pins. I myself, will be molding the hood to the OEM parts because I am not a fan of hood pins (ricey in my opinion)

I like the hood a lot  , it is functional and about 20 pounds I know many people don't like it, but it reminds me of the WS6 hood, plus it is different. Put it this way, AED way to expensive, AAS (yuck), and I was always a fan of light hoods that are functional. Also, it is better than a cowl hood on a Honda ;)

When you mold can you tell me how to do it? I won't have my hood for a little while, need to get the cash rounded up...I'm also not too good with things like that.

I like the hood. it would much better on a stock Ga w/ no kit. the hood vents would match up great with the factory grille.

I :agree: but it is overplayed on movies (FF) and around my neighborhood because i have those people who think they have a cf hood, really a black hood with hood pins there fro decoration, thats why I have a bad taste for them. But mike you are absolutly right :)

I was actually thinking of getting that hood and putting on a razzi body kit that just adds to the front end, and keeps the grill and then Meshing the grill.
