Lights Off Lights On

You know how you cant turn your lights off at night with your grand am and the only way to turn them off is to turn your car off? What if I wanted my car running but just to turn my lights off?Well is there a way to turn those off without causing any problems? This question has probably been asked before but I gotta know. ;)

Pull the parking brake lever.

You have to have the brake pulled before you start the engine...it won't turn the lights off once the engine is running.

There is a way of doing it. Try searching, it's been talked about a million times. Search for something like DRL disable" or ARL disable :)

could you possibly just pull the DRL relay/fuse? I pulled the relay on my truck and they havent had a problem.

Well thats how you disable them on GA's over 02? or 03? I'm not sure. if you pull the relay on 99 - 01 - 02 whatever year it differs, then the SVS comes on. Thats what I remember anyway. Sorry I couldnt be more accurate.

yes, on the 04 just pulling the drl relay wont turn the lights off by simply pulling the ebrake lever after the car is already on... you would have to do some modding to the switch or power or something to it...

well... There light sensor is in the front window vent. If you stick a clear LED on there or something it wont turn your lights on automatically.

Take your left hand, turn the light switch up one notch to the parking light position. The headlights will be off.
