Anyone want Rainbow Audio Soundline Componets?

There are only two dealers in the u.s. I can get you the Soundline SLC's for $220 shipped with 10 people in on the GB. These are really nice speakers. I'm not much a salesperson, but here goes my pitch type thing.

Rainbow audio is based in germany and they produce really nice speakers. They have about 6 different lines and the soundlines are the 3rd (i believe) line up from the bottom, about the middle. but their is nothing mediocre about them. The set is a 6.5" Componet set with a silk dome tweeter and adjustable crossover (the attenuation of the tweeter is adjustable).

A very good deal on some very good speakers. I'm partial to Focal myself, but if I didn't work at a shop and get the pricing I do, I'd jump on this.

Seriously people - if you need good mids & highs, you should get with this for sure.

The GD has gone through, ifyou contact me by the end of the night, I may be able to get you in, but no promises. I just cant wait to get these into my car, they ship right from germany to the dealer, then he's shipping to us. Yeh, I like the focals too, except for the aluminum dome tweeter, a little harsh for me. but yeh, some people like focals better, some like rainbows, some like others. I like the rainbows because they seem to have a little more midbass and more mellow tweeters, thanks to the silk dome tweeter. :)

If I didnt like my Cadence components I'd be all for this. But I'm pretty happy with what I have now. :)

Titanium, not Aluminum. And now Berylium, only manufacturer in the world who can machine it for a tweeter. If you haven't heard the new TN52 titanium in the polykevlars, you don't know just how good a titanium tweeter can sound! Silk domes are little TOO 'smooth' for my tastes. While I don't like it overly bright (which many metal domes - including many by Focal - can be), I find most textile dome tweeters lack some of the sibilance and space that metal domes usually carry. The new material (can't remember the name off hand) that Hertz and MTX are big on has possibilities - but then along comes Focal with the Berylium, lighter than titanium or aluminum but 7x stiffer and with much higher internal damping charactoristics and lower Fs. I really think that thing is gonna set new standards all over the industry, home and car.

cool. im just a mellow kind of guy. I like the laid back sound, some people like the highs right in there face, i like for them to be there but not the center of attention. and i listened to some focals and it really made my head hurt in a way after listening to them, like it was taking effort to handle them, dont konw why the metal domes do this.


On another note, the group discounts final day to pay is friday, so its do or die day come friday, which im gonna say by thursday cause i dont wanna be rushing orders into him come friday evening, not to mention i work that night.
